Born and raised in a community of Ethiopian immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mahi grew up in a world full of cultural richness, spiritual exploration, and self-discovery. As young as 8 years-old, Mahi would write about her friends’ sun signs in her childhood diaries, analyzing the differences between each person’s nature. 

After graduating from law school and starting her first year in a corporate law firm, Mahi hit the biggest roadblock of her career, feeling disenchanted with the hustle and struggling to find her path of purpose. By studying her birth chart with the same investigative, strategy-focused she learned as a lawyer, Mahi developed a method to turn birth charts into practical, personalized toolkits to align with purpose and build a legacy.

Launched with love in 2021, Mahi’s practice offers empowering insights through birth chart readings (one-on-one, couples, and businesses), workshops, events, and The Gursha Guide Podcast.
